Board of directors
The general policies of Projects microfinance bank are formulated by a Board of Directors of six(6) members made up of the following;
Oladele Lawore (Chairman)
A graduate of economics from the university of Ibadan and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria with over 20 years of investment banking and business finance experience. His work experience covers the securities and Exchange Commission, Afribank Plc, NAL Bank Plc and Equitorial Trust Bank Limited.
Before leaving NAL in 1990, he rose to the level of a Full Manager and was directly involved in the execution of many capital issues, mergers and acquisitions as well as loan syndication assignments. As the chairman of Projects Microfinance Bank, he has had the responsibility of leading the company's team in handling many of its major assignments.
Wande Oluwasegunfunmi (Director)
With proven records of accomplishment in planning and leading effective marketing strategies that deliver sustainable business growths. Excellent strength in generating and driving marketing mix models to achieve profitable results. She adjusts readily to multiple demands and shifting priorities of the business; and have driven growth in various target market categories.
She has developed and managed all aspects of brand building objectives. Managed team of 9 managers to drive strategic marketing direction for Nutricima. Drove various business planning tools to facilitate effective delivery of overall business objective.
She has overseen various aspects of new product development and projects and timeline management. Ensure profitability within a healthy mix of line payback matrix; Product/packaging material cost and selling price. Also interfaced with overseas teams and raw material suppliers to drive progress on on-going projects.
Kenneth Odusanya (Director)
He is a graduate of Economics from the University of Lagos, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN) with over 30 years’ experience in Auditing, Manufacturing and the banking industry.
He started his career as an audit trainee in Price Waterhouse Coopers and he rose to the level of audit manager. Mr. Odusanya left PWC in 1988 for K Chellerams & Sons Plc as the chief Internal Auditor from where he went to head the corporate finance unit at Metropolitan Merchant Bank Nigeria ltd from 1989-1992. He left Metropolitan Bank Ltd in 1992 for Habitat Savings & Loans Ltd as the MD/CEO of the bank, a position he held until 1994.
Mr. Odusanya is the Managing Partner at KSO Associates, a firm of chartered accountants and tax consultants.
Femi Lawore (Director)
Femi is an accounting graduate from Oxford Brookes University, London and a graduate of Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos. He is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, UK (CISI) and he is also a Chartered Stock Broker.
Femi started his career at Integrated Trust as an Analyst in the capital market department in February, 2008 and was promoted to Assistant Manager, Capital market in January, 2013 and to Full Manager in February, 2014. He has handled many capitals raising and merger transactions as well as portfolio management issues.
Prof. Jude Ohaeri (Director)
Professor Jude Ohaeri is a professor of medicine, MBBS (Ibadan), FMCPsyc (NIG), MD, MRCPsych (UK). He is an Honorable international member, American Psychiatric Association. A former professor of Psychiatry, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and currently consultant lecturer at the University of Nigeria, Nsuka.
Timi Alonge (Director)
Mr. Timi Alonge is one of the founding directors of Aquila Traders Ltd. He has over fifteen years of experience in the world of Commerce. Timi’s background is in Law, Corporate Banking and Entrepreneurship. His diligent hand-on approach and practical experiences adds immense value, knowledge and a wealth of business relationships.
A humble achiever who in his professional career has accomplished award-winning professional achievements with both Barclays and Santander bank Plc. His passion for business has also led him to build several successful business models.
Patience, hard work, discipline, resourceful and integrity are all principles and values Timi is associated with by his peers and business associates. An avid reader, footballer and philanthropist, Timi enjoys empowering developing communities in Africa with education, energy/power and sport.
